Handmade in the Studio Nish workspace, this one’s a piece that carries softness, playfulness, and that little twist of bold you didn’t know you needed. The Knot Your Average Top is our romantic reimagination of the summer cotton top — made in lightweight cambric cotton that feels like a hug and moves like poetry.

At first glance, it's a gentle, floral moment — blue blooms printed on crisp white — but turn around, and it reveals its secret: an adjustable lace-up back that knots into a bow and cinches the top perfectly to your shape. It’s flattering, forgiving, and full of personality — much like the women we make our clothes for.

The peplum hem flares out softly from the waist, giving you room to breathe, twirl, or lean back into your chair with iced chai in hand. We’ve added lining to the front bodice for structure, but kept the rest unlined so it stays breezy and light — because you deserve comfort without compromise.

Each piece is sewn in tiny batches by hand (by me!) with care, occasional seam-ripping, and lots of talking-to-myself moments in the studio. There’s no big factory here. Just a girl with a dream, a vintage-feeling floral print, and a soft spot for clothing that feels like a memory.
